stripping cloth diapers

so my 8 month old’s fuzzi bunz have gotten sTINKy! i basically followed the advice found here:

apparently, i have been using too much soap, even though i thought i was sparingly using my charlie’s natural detergent. so, what did i do to strip the diapers? i washed them as usual, then followed that with FOUR cold rinse cycles with no added soap. seems to have done the trick. phew!

start small

i have been wanting to start a blog to help me process motherhood… and to provide a place where holistic and “green” moms can share ideas and resources and general support.

inspired by my 8 month old son, i am going to start small. every day he teaches me how “baby steps” can lead to great things if the steps are made patiently and with great determination and trust in the process.
